KCBA designed a major addition on the campus of this senior living community. The complex houses independent living, personal care, and memory care programs; the new three-story addition features two floors of personal care and one floor of memory care. The new segment features a mix of residential units, dining areas, and activity rooms. A strong connection to nature was established via an exterior courtyard and landscaping. Both building aesthetics and the interior environment were heavily influenced by the character of the existing building.
