Master Plan and Design of New Municipal Campus
The central element of a town center master plan, this 38,000 sq. ft. municipal building includes an administration center, police department, EMS ambulance substation, and a police canine housing and care facility. Located on the site’s point of high prominence, careful attention was given to distinguish circulation patterns of the different building functions. The main public interior spaces are organized around a central lobby to provide one stop shopping for municipal services. The building’s image reflects the township’s desire to celebrate the past but look toward the future with progressive building massing and a mix of stone, wood, and steel building materials.
