KCBA provided architectural services for a renovation and refurbishment of this retirement community that provides assisted living and memory support accommodations. The original facility was built in 1995 and the project was undertaken to modernize the interior and improve overall functionality. Notable aspects include an expanded memory care unit with a new larger dining room and new activity spaces, reconfiguration of the traditional nurse’s station into a concierge-style care station, renovation of the main dining room, and renewal of the lobby and corridors.
