This project involved a major renovation and 26,000 sq. ft. expansion of this building which houses an elementary school and the Northern Lehigh School District administration offices. The original school was laid out in an open concept plan which yielded a number of challenges in the implementation of the district’s modern educational program. The project scope included a wholesale conversion to a self-contained classroom configuration as well as general building system and efficiency upgrades. The additions comprise a new classroom wing and a new district administration office. Students occupied the facility throughout the complex project so construction was carefully phased.
