This new fire station, along with a discrete but aesthetically-related administration building, comprises a complete new municipal campus designed by KCBA. Situated near the entry of the campus to enable fast emergency response, the building evokes pastoral architecture in massing and materiality reflective of the character of South Hanover Township. The facility includes three drive-through apparatus bays, a radiant-heated front apron, equipment maintenance and storage facilities, a decontamination area, communications room, offices, and recreational space for volunteers.
