KCBA provided architectural services to expand, renovate, and repurpose an existing classroom building into a residence for retired priests. The entire building was gutted and reconfigured including new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems; updated building elements to meet residential and ADA standards; and a revamped interior including residential, assembly, and worship facilities. A particular challenge was to harmoniously weave an elevator and lobby addition into the character of the existing facility as well as match the architectural context of the campus.
