Interior Renovation to Accommodate Department Relocation
This project entailed the demolition, reconfiguration, and modernization of an existing interior office suite to house Temple University’s student counseling department. In addition to meeting the department’s programmatic needs and desired operational adjacencies, a bright and modern environment was implemented to welcome students in emotionally-sensitive conditions. Located on the second floor above the campus bookstore, the new Counseling Center houses 37 counseling rooms, two group therapy rooms, and a meditation and yoga room.
