Reeves Library, the main campus library at Moravian College, was renovated and expanded to add meeting and support spaces and meet modern codes and building standards. The primary challenge of the project was to accomplish these goals while sensitively weaving new construction into an existing small-scale historic campus setting. This was accomplished via two appropriately-scaled bookend additions and the use of traditional brick and stone materials. A heavy reliance on glass in the new construction areas dramatically increases natural light throughout the building.
